3D Printing Will Soon Be Affordable

Due to the popularity of 3D printing in the Euromold event in Germany, it was foreseen that consumers will soon shop for 3D ink cartridges.

Catherine Hayes, 3D Systems’ VP for Global Marketing, said that 3D printers are now becoming more accessible and affordable at £8,758.00. In addition, almost all printer manufacturers are now releasing their own 3D printer models in the market, making it a "free enterprise product". This means that 3D printers and ink cartridges may lower already their prices to make their products more competitive.

Printer manufacturers have likewise announced that soon–to-be released models of 3D printers will be capable of printing three-dimensional images straight from their 3D camera. Fujifilm’s 3D printer, for example, is capable of combining several images that reflect different angles so that the viewer will be able to see the depth of the image. Unlike previously released models, newer 3D printers can produce different sizes of 3D images ranging from 6x4 to 6x9 inches.
