Why Printers differ in Prices
>> Tuesday, June 29, 2010

Maybe you have wondered why some printers differ in prices when they have the same functions and features. Then you start to get confuse on which one you should get since the prices are really varying. So let’s discuss the price ranges and what you can expect on the printer that fits the category.
1. Printers that cost $100 and below
These printers will fit those who print for home and personal use. Why? The answer is simply because these machines do not have too many functions aside from the basic one which is printing. There are also stores that offer multifunction printers at this price range but some of the features may be missing. The not-so-good part with cheap printers is the expense on the printer cartridges which can be a problem to those who print a lot.
2. Printers that are $200 and below
Printers that are included in this price range are mostly multifunction printers that are capable of doing more than just printing. These also have an LCD display which enables the user to work without a computer. That’s convenience gained from a high-priced device. Some can even be used for greater media.
When deciding on the right printer, it is best that you know your needs and why you should or should not buy a certain printer model. Also, think about the expenses that you will make like the purchasing of inks and toners and the printer maintenance too.
