>> Wednesday, July 14, 2010
Maybe you have experienced printing the wrong file or suddenly seeing error messages while your printer is working. When this happens you may feel confused or somehow you act the wrong way because of panic and worry. Here are some tips to avoid this or just to completely stop your printer while functioning.
1. Printer Settings
If you are using Windows XP, proceed to the Control Panel then click “Printers and Faxes”. Double click on the printer icon that you are using then the printing job will appear. Stop it from printing by right-clicking the icon then choosing “Cancel” or “Delete”.
2. Use Quick Launch Toolbar
Right click on the icon of Quick Launch Toolbar then proceed to the “Delete” icon to instantly end your printer’s job.
3. Turn It Off
If your printer continuously prints without any printing job on your screen, there must be something wrong with it so turn it off and let it rest for awhile.
4. Remove Paper
Remember that your printer will need paper to print. So, remove all the sheets of paper on your document tray then cancel the printing job.
In every printing job that you do, you are bound to either make a mistake or your printer will show errors. When any of these choices happens, just be sure that you know what to do. Also use only the right printer cartridges for your machine to ensure perfect performance and printing quality.
