Maybe everyone loves to capture photos then move or copy these to a computer for viewing or editing. Editing is usually made on images that you want to improve or sometimes just add effects and greater art to it. While there is a lot of editing software made available in the market, not all can be used by your entire family (especially when you have a shared PC). So here is a list of the editing software which each family member can use.

1. Apple iPhoto

When you have an Apple computer, this software includes iLife in the package which you can purchase separately of course. You can easily change settings on your pictures, turn these into flipbooks, and even create printouts professionally with this program.

2. Picasa

Picasa is a free editing software that's compatible with Windows OS only. The good side about this is that it is very easy to use that makes your editing and managing images totally fast. When you’re done, you can share these instantly or make albums to post online.

3. Roxio PhotoSuite

This software only functions on Windows but it has a lot of potentials in it that can bring out the best in your images. You can edit a photo until it is made into what you really like. After that, you can put these on calendars or just print as is. You also have a choice of transferring the images in a DVD.

4. Ulead PhotoImpact

At an inexpensive price, the Ulead PhotoImpact can turn a first time editor into a professional one with its easy-to-use features. There are also some icons on this software that can be used by the real time editors. Anything that you might need for photo editing is included in this software.

5. Adobe Photoshop Elements

This is the most popular editing software for editors and computer users. The Adobe Photoshop Elements needs some editing skills to have a smooth flow, but the beginners will surely understand its features after a few trials. It can be used on either Windows or Mac operating systems so there would be no problem in installing it. This program would allow you to take control on the resolutions of the images when you want to alternate something.

Trying editing softwares on your images can be very fun and confusing at some point, so make sure to use the program that suit your needs. When you are done editing and you’re ready to print, use remanufactured cartridges that give high quality printing at a lower price.
