Pulling the Tab before Using a Laser Toner Cartridge

When buying your laser toner cartridge, it would always be placed in a box that would protect it from any kind of damage. However, after taking it off your printer, you still have to do something before placing the laser toner inside your printing machine. So what is that one important step?




The answer is quite simple here. It is pulling the tab portion on your laser toner cartridge which is usually a long plastic that covers the toner to avoid it from spilling. While this part is a basic one, there are still printer users who forget to take off that tab and end up destroying their printer since it can be stuck inside and some parts may also melt due to the heat happening in your printer while you are printing. If this happens, better check the cost of repair and a new laser printer to see which can give you more savings.

However, just to avoid those serious problems, you must never forget to remove that tab from your laser toners. After all, it’s just one pull to prevent bigger issues which you may encounter if you do not remember to do so.
