Okay, so it may have already crossed your mind why there are so many printer cartridges and if it is not possible that all printers will be filled with just one laser toner or ink cartridge type. Well, it is not impossible for you to think about this especially and all you want is to have more savings on your printing expenses. But is it really possible?
If you are familiar on the battle between OEMs or original equipment manufacturer cartridges and the third party printer supplies such as compatible types and remanufactured printer cartridges, you may already have figured out why there are so many kinds of printer cartridges but to make the idea clearer, let’s discuss it here.
First of all, we know that the real makers of laser toner cartridges and ink cartridges are the manufacturers of the printers themselves. Since they offer really affordable printers especially the inkjet types, they need to find another resort to gain more profit. So they would charge their customers with outrageously expensive printer supplies.
However, these printer makers do not have all the triumph for themselves since the third party printer supplies stores have offered a more affordable yet same performance printer cartridges known as the remanufactured laser toners and inks. Printer users have found more savings on these items which made the original manufacturers find another way to act. Their solution is to constantly produce different types of printer cartridges for their printers.
Although it would usually take some time for the third party makers to create these models, they will surely come out soon so the battle just goes on and on. Now, you know why the laser toners or printer inks continue to vary. It is up to you if you wish to patronize original ones or switch to the remanufactured cartridges, after all both have the same printing quality.
